Videos in the Facebook app auto-play, and can make your data plan fill up fast

Facebook updated itself a few weeks back and as a result, it now auto-plays some streaming video, which is both annoying, and can impact your cell phones data usage amounts if your on a limited data plan.

The good news is this "feature" can be shut off.  From WCVB:

Fortunately, the fix is an easy one. If you're an iPhone user, tap your "Settings" button and then scroll down and click "Facebook." From there, click "Settings," "Auto-play," and then choose "Wi-Fi only" or "Off."
On Android, bring up the Facebook app and go to your account settings. Click "App Settings," and then choose 'Auto-play only on Wi-Fi' or 'Off.'
