Scan to Email and File in Full Color on any Toshiba Printer in the Office

It has come to my attention that staff may not realize that the Toshiba printers throughout the office have the capability to scan color documents (mind you they cannot print in color, that is only on the color printers on each respective floor).

By default the devices will scan in black and white (this is true also for the color Toshiba on 5, it will default to black and white scanning, just an FYI), but you can change the settings when you set up your scan job.

After hitting the 'Scan' button to the right of the control panel, you will see a window on the display screen called 'Scan Settings'.  Touch the 'Scan Settings' button and you will be allowed to change options such as the DPI (dots per inch, the higher the number, the sharper the image...but also increases the file size), color settings (black, gray scale, full color and auto color), and other settings as well.

Remember, there is no need to make  a special trip to the fifth floor to scan a document to color, just use your nearest Toshiba device!
